Tenant Ledger Report

The Tenant Ledger Report allows you to review detailed financial activities for tenants within selected properties. It provides a clear breakdown of each tenant's transactions over a specified period, grouped by unit.

How to Generate the Tenant Ledger Report:

  1. Navigate to the Reports page.

  2. Under the Tenant category, select Tenant Ledger.

  3. Set the parameters for your report:

    • Building: By default, "All Buildings" is selected, but you can select a specific building.

    • Start Date: Choose the date from which you'd like to see transactions.

    • End Date: Select the last date for transactions to be included.

    • Company: By default, "All Companies" is selected, but you can specify a particular company.

  4. Click Generate to create the report.

Understanding the Report:

The Tenant Ledger Report is organized by unit and tenant. For each tenant, you'll see:

  • Starting Balance: The tenant's balance as of your chosen start date.

  • Transactions: Detailed list of every transaction within your selected date range, including:

    • Transaction Type

    • Description

    • Date

    • Amount

  • Ending Balance: The balance at the end of your chosen date range.

This report helps property managers and accounting teams quickly access comprehensive financial information for tenants, facilitating easy reconciliation and analysis.
