The Aged Payables Report helps you track outstanding payments owed to vendors, organized by aging periods. It can be accessed from the Reports page under the Vendor category.
Report Parameters:
Customize your report by setting the following parameters:
Vendor: Select a specific vendor or keep the default setting (All Vendors) to include all.
Company: Select a specific company or use the default (All Companies) to include all.
Date: Choose the date to view payable balances as of that specific day.
Balance Filter: Specify how balances should be filtered:
All (default): Include all balances.
Greater Than Balance: Show only balances above a specified amount.
Less Than Balance: Show only balances below a specified amount.
Balance: Enter a specific balance amount for filtering (default is 0).
Include $0 Balances: Choose Yes to include zero balances or leave at default (No) to exclude them.
Report Columns:
The report includes the following columns:
Vendor: Name of the vendor.
Total Due: Total outstanding amount owed to the vendor.
Current: Amount due within the current billing period.
1-30 Days: Amount overdue between 1-30 days.
31-60 Days: Amount overdue between 31-60 days.
61-90 Days: Amount overdue between 61-90 days.
> 90 Days: Amount overdue by more than 90 days.
Aged Payables - Detailed Report
For more detailed insight, you can use the Aged Payables - Detailed Report, also found under the Vendor category in the Reports page.
Detailed Report Parameters:
Date: Select the specific date for report generation.
Building: Select a specific building or keep the default (All Buildings) to include all.
Company: Select a specific company or use the default (All Companies) to include all.
Include Credit Notes?: Choose Yes (default) to include credit notes or No to exclude.
Vendor: Select a specific vendor or use the default (All Vendors) to include all.
Detailed Report Columns:
The detailed report includes these columns:
Type: Transaction type.
Date: Transaction date.
No.: Transaction number.
Name: Name associated with the transaction.
Due Date: Payment due date.
Aging: Age of the balance.
Open Balance: Outstanding amount.
The detailed report is grouped by the following aging sections:
Current
1-30 Days
31-60 Days
61-90 Days
> 90 Days
Each section displays transactions affecting it, section totals, available credit balances, and final balances.
Use these reports to effectively manage your payable balances and maintain good vendor relationships.
