Automatic Actions: Supported Triggers, Conditions, and Events

Automatic Actions let you define a trigger, add optional conditions, and run one or more events.

How to use this guide

  1. Find the trigger you want to use in the Triggers section.

  2. Check which conditions and events are supported for that trigger.

  3. Use the Trigger Configuration, Condition Reference, and Event Reference sections to see which settings each option can use.

Important notes

  • If you combine multiple triggers in one automatic action, the available conditions and events are limited to the ones shared by every selected trigger.

  • The Delete the matching items specified in the condition event requires the Transaction is for certain item(s) condition.

  • The Forward the sent email event does not support the Communication template is of a certain category condition.

  • The Last month had no bill activity for condition only supports email and text events sent to a specifically entered recipient.

  • Send email recipient choices have extra trigger-specific limits. For example, Document Creation only allows a specified recipient, and Tenant Pays Full Balance only allows a smaller set of recipient options.

  • Send text recipient choices also have extra trigger-specific limits. For example, Charge Due Date does not allow the vendor phone recipient option.
