Creating a Bill from a Scanned Document using AI Tools

Choosing a Tenant

  1. Go to Tenants from the left-side navigation.

  2. Select the tenant you want to work with from the tenant list.

  3. Open the tenant account details page.

Choosing a Document

  1. Click the Scans icon in the sidebar beneath Inbox to access scanned documents.

  2. Selecting a Scanned Document

  3. In the file explorer, find the document you want to process.

  4. Select the checkbox next to the document to mark it for processing.

  5. Click Create Bill to automatically generate a bill from the selected scanned document.

Reviewing and Updating Bill Details

  1. Review the generated bill details to make sure the information is correct.

  2. Confirm that all bill information is accurate, including any line items created from the scanned document.

  3. If needed, update relevant fields such as bill number, issue date, due date, item category, site, description, and quantity to align with record

Saving the Bill

  1. After reviewing the bill, click Save and Add Bill From Scan.

  2. This creates the bill and saves the scanned document as an attachment.

Processing Additional Documents

  1. If more documents need to be processed, repeat above steps for each scanned document.

  2. When you are finished, click Cancel to close the screen.
