We offer two different setups for TransUnion:
Shareable is set up individually on each property, and you can use this right away when you have an account with Property Matrix.
TransUnion Resident Screening requires contacting TransUnion and creating your own account with them through our system, which then results in a discount in pricing.
If you use Shareable first and then want to switch to Resident Screening once your account is set up, you can follow the below instructions:
Navigate to the Settings page from the dropdown menu under your profile in the bottom left.
Click on the TransUnion tab to open up the page.
Shareable and Resident Screening can now be used simultaneously. These are referred to as “credit check providers”. Use the Dropdown Arrow in the top right corner of the TransUnion page.
The credit check provider is set on the custom tenant application on the settings page. Multiple applications on the same license can use different providers as long as that provider is set up first on the settings page. Providers that are not set up cannot be selected.
The marketing page will automatically have the correct TransUnion report options based on what each lead originally applied with, regardless of what the tenant application is currently set to.
Each lead can only be linked to a single credit check provider. They will need to go through the application process again as a separate lead in order to get reports from another provider (using request further actions will not work for this).
