Follow these steps to add a new building and its units:
Go to the Properties page.
Click the dropdown menu in the Properties section.
Click New.
Create the Building and Units
On the first page of the popup window:
Confirm or enter the number of units. Enter
1for single-family homes.Complete any additional required fields.
Click Next.
On the second page, set the property details, including:
Owner Company, the company that owns the property and which will include the property in owner draws and management fee calculations.
Operating Account, the default bank account that transactions under this property are processed under. See Setting a Building’s Operating Account Without Changing the Company Account.
Lease, Management, and Maintenance profiles, which set default data like document templates and fee structures. Add or update these profiles in Settings > Profiles.
Click Next to continue.
On the third page, edit unit-specific details:
To quickly edit identical unit details, click Select All.
Or select individual units to edit unique details.
Update unit details such as bedrooms, bathrooms, area, rent, and other unit-level information.
To assign Amenities to units, check the box next to the amenities you want.
Add or update available amenities in Settings > Amenities.
Click Next to continue.
On the fourth page, enter the general property amenities, such as parking, gym, or pool. When finished, click Save to create the building and units.
Editing Buildings and Units
You can edit building and unit details at any time:
Go to Properties and select your building or unit.
Click the relevant Property tab to view the information panels.
Click Edit to modify the property’s details.
Make your changes, then click Save.
For additional options, use the Property Actions Menu at the top right of the page or within individual panels to add or delete units or properties.
