Adding New or Editing Property Types:
Navigate to the Settings page by clicking on your profile icon on the top-right of the page, and selecting the Settings option in the dropdown.
Select General Settings from the left sidebar.
Click the New Property Type button to add a new property type, or click on the 3-dot menu to the right of each property type to select the Edit option.
Configuring Property Type Details
When adding or editing, you’ll see the following options:
Name: Enter the property type name.
Property Type Category: Select from a dropdown for accurate categorization on public rental sites.
Has Multiple Units:
Yes: Displays a unit column for selecting between units (e.g., Apartments).
No: Hides the unit column for single-unit properties (e.g., Houses).
Unit Display Term: Customize the naming convention for units (e.g., "Lot," "Suite," or default "Unit").
Hide Bed & Bath:
Set to True to hide bedroom/bathroom details (useful for Land or Commercial properties).
Separate Unit Address:
Check this if individual units have different addresses from the main building address. Ideal for complexes with multiple distinct addresses. You could then have units that have the address 5400 Main Street Unit #23, 5500 Main Street Unit #37, 5750 Main Street Unit #1, etc.
If all the units have the same address, leave this box unchecked.
Separate Company Owner For Each Unit
Check this option if the company owner for each unit is different, meaning that there are multiple different company owners for one property
Amenities
Check the amenities you wish to display in the Marketing section for this property type;.
Ensure all details are accurate and click Submit to save your changes.
