You can request holding deposits or fees from leads by sending them a payment request email directly from your account.
Step 1: Set the Email Template
Navigate to Settings > General Settings > Advanced Settings.
Under Request further transaction actions email template, select the desired email template.
By default, this is set to "Default Invoice Payment Request Email".
Step 2: Send a Payment Request to Leads
Go to the Accounting > Tenants page.
Change the Tenant Type filter to Leads.
Select the lead to whom you'd like to send a payment request.
Create an invoice for the lead using the transaction manager.
Click the 3-dot menu on the invoice, then choose Request Further Action.
A modal will appear, allowing you to confirm and send the payment request email.
What the Lead Receives
Leads receive an email containing a secure link. This link directs them to a simplified payment page, similar to the rental application page but displaying only the payment section.
