The Income Vs Expense widget on your dashboard presents a stacked bar chart that compares income and expense amounts for each building. This visual tool helps you monitor financial performance and manage property profitability.
How It Works
Stacked Bar Chart Visualization: The widget displays a stacked bar chart for each building, showing income and expense figures stacked upon each other. Users can filter these figures based on monthly, quarterly, or yearly periods. If there are more than 30 buildings, the 30 with the highest total of income and expenses are shown individually, and the remaining are grouped under "Other Properties". Transactions not associated with any property are listed under "No Property".
Customization Options:
Grouping: Users can choose to group all buildings together by selecting the "Grouped" checkbox, allowing for a comparative analysis across different periods.
Active Company Filter: This widget includes transactions from active companies and incorporates data from both active and inactive properties or units within those companies, ensuring a comprehensive financial view.
Why It Matters
This widget offers an insightful comparison of income and expenses, enabling effective financial analysis and decision-making. By providing a clear visual differentiation between income and expenses for each property, it assists in identifying profitability trends and areas requiring cost management, supporting strategic financial planning.
