The Outstanding Balances By Building widget on your dashboard provides a detailed view of all currently outstanding invoices, broken down by building. This helps you monitor unpaid balances and manage collections more effectively.

How It Works

Outstanding Balances: This widget displays the total outstanding invoice amounts categorized by each building. Users can filter these amounts based on monthly, quarterly, or yearly periods. If there are more than 30 buildings, the widget will display the 30 buildings with the highest outstanding balances and group the remaining balances under "Other Properties". This widget only includes active companies, buildings, and units.

Customization Options

Grouping: By selecting the "Grouped" checkbox, you can view the total outstanding amounts grouped together, allowing you to compare the aggregate outstanding balances across different periods.

Timeframe Filter: The timeframe you select filters the invoices considered in the calculation. However, the determination of whether an invoice is outstanding is always based on its current status, regardless of the selected period.

Why It Matters

This widget is great for tracking financial health at a granular level. By showing unpaid balances by building, it assists in pinpointing problem areas and improving your approach to revenue management and debt collection.
