The Expense by Property widget on your dashboard displays a pie chart that shows total expenses broken down by buildings. This visualization aids in understanding how expenses are distributed across different properties.

How It Works

Pie Chart Visualization: This widget presents a pie chart where each segment represents a building. If there are more than 30 buildings, the 30 with the highest expenses are shown individually, while the rest are grouped under "Other Properties". Expenses not linked to any specific property are captured under "No Property".

Active Company Filter: The widget includes transactions from active companies but accounts for expenses from both active and inactive properties or units within those companies, providing a full scope of financial outlays.

Why It Matters

This widget provides a visual breakdown of expense allocation across properties, facilitating better financial oversight and budget management.
