If you receive a '-1' response on an applicant’s credit report, it indicates that the applicant does not have a scorable credit history. This means:

  • The applicant has no active credit accounts or tradelines reported.

  • They likely manage all financial transactions using cash or debit cards and do not use credit cards.

Important Notes:

  • A '-1' credit score response does not affect the validity of criminal or eviction reports. These reports remain accurate and reliable.

  • Applicants can still have a comprehensive criminal and eviction history even if their credit report is non-scorable.
