There are a few reasons that these balances may not match up.

One example is on Cash Accounting.
The owner Draws page loads with today's balances by default, but this can be changed with the date filter.
There could be prepayment applications in the future, which would affect this balance. But the balance today would not show that change yet, causing these balances to be off.
