When running Credit Reports through Transunion, we have seen an error message before about the SSN not matching.
If you see this on the top of a report, it does not necessarily mean that the SSN was entered incorrectly.
Transunion says that the fraud indicators take into account every application that the applicant has ever had. If they ever applied for anything and mistyped their SSN or had it entered in incorrectly then this flag is something that will always appear on the report.
Fraud indicators are just Red Flags not factors into recommendations.
