Viewing and Editing Leads

Learn how to view, edit, and manage prospective tenant leads in Property Matrix.

Overview

The Leads section in Property Matrix helps you efficiently manage and organize prospective tenant information.

Automatic Lead Generation

Leads are automatically created when a prospective tenant contacts you or submits an application through your Property Matrix website. For details on posting vacant units, refer to the Posting Vacant Units article.

Viewing Leads

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Leads in your Property Matrix dashboard.

  2. On this page, you'll see a list of current leads who have applied via your property website. Each lead includes the information and documents they have provided.

  3. If the prospective tenant completed an online rental application, the application will appear as an attachment at the bottom of their information screen. Click this attachment to review additional details.

Editing Lead Information

To edit or update lead information:

  1. From the Leads screen, select the lead you wish to update.

  2. Move your mouse over the field you want to edit. When it gets highlighted, click to activate edit mode.

  3. Modify or add information as necessary. You can also update the lead’s submission status using the dropdown menu provided (under the Label field).

  4. Click Save to save your changes.

Adding a New Lead Manually

You can manually add a lead to the system if needed:

  1. Click the 3-dot menu at the top-left corner of the Leads screen, then New Lead.

  2. In the pop-up window, enter the relevant information for the new lead.

  3. When finished, click Save to create the new lead.
