There are three different types of additional charges that can occur on an account, which are displayed on the Settings - Billing Details page, and the Subscription tab. These are billed along with your nomal billing plan.

Below the current plan and number of units, it will show any of these additional charges.

The first section would be the TransUnion Charges. The cost of these would depend on the TransUnion account you have set up and also which plan you are on. This will show each report that is run and for which lead it is run for, along with the cost of that report. Typically a Tenant Application will already have a fee applied to it, so you can charge more than what you pay for this TransUnion report. This application fee can be set on the Settings - Tenant Applications page, when editing that specific application. Also if you choose to send just a TransUnion request to a potential lead from the Marketing page and Request Further Actions option, there is an option to Request Credit Check and Payment, that way you cover the cost of these reports.

The next section is the ProPay Chargeback Charges. There is a $25 fee for chargebacks, which are when a tenant makes a payment and then tells their bank that it was fraud or they did not authorize it. Property Matrix will submit this dispute on your behalf after confirming with you that you want to pursue that option. We have the authorization record saved in our system to provide ProPay, which usually allows us to win these disputes for our clients. You can then charge the tenant for this dispute to recover this fee, the details on this page include the tenant name and unit number so you know who it was for.

The last section is the ProPay ACH Return Charges. There is a $5 fee for any ACH returns, which are when a payment bounces for various reasons such as insufficient funds, unable to locate account, etc. You can then charge the tenant for this return to recover this fee, the details on this page include the tenant name and unit number so you know who it was for.
