Question

My transaction shows as "settled" in your system, but the funds aren't in my bank or credit card account yet. What does this mean?

Answer

When our system shows a transaction as "settled," this means our payment processing partners, Forte (for payments you send out, like bill payments) or ProPay (for funds you're receiving, such as rent payments), have completed their processing of your transaction.

However, there can still be a delay from the time a transaction is marked as settled until the funds are physically deposited into your bank account or reflected on your credit card statement. Settlement indicates the processing by Forte or ProPay is complete, but actual fund transfers through banks or credit card companies can take an additional 1-3 business days.

If it has been longer than a few business days since settlement and your funds have not yet appeared:

  • Double-check your bank account or credit card information entered in our system to ensure accuracy.

  • Verify if there are any notifications or messages from your bank or credit card company about delayed transactions.

  • Confirm there aren't any holidays or weekends causing additional banking delays.

Should you have reviewed these points and still suspect an issue or have concerns beyond normal delays, please contact our support team. We're here to help you resolve your transaction concerns promptly.
