At the top right of the Property Matrix toolbar is a bell icon called the notifications center that can alert to various changes in the system, as opposed to having emails sent out. The number next to the icon shows the number of notifications you have pending.

If you hover over the icon you can see your notifications. Notifications are refreshed every 30 seconds. Some notifications can be dismissed by click the X next to them. Others, such as document signing, require you to take an action and then the notifications will be automatically cleared. You can click on any notification and Property Matrix will redirect you to the appropriate page.

Notifications are specific to each user, so if you clear a notification it does not clear it for another user on your account.

By default notifications are created if: you add items to the print queue (see the article on Using the Print Queue); a document is added that requires a signature (Sending/Signing Documents article); a new lead applies from your Property Matrix website (see the Viewing Public Websites article); there is a new TransUnion report to look at (ask Property Matrix Support about TransUnion reporting if you are unsure of how it works).

More notifications can always be added - please contact Property Matrix Support for more info on this!
